We’re honored! Avenue B Development has won a 2016 “Best Of Design” Award on Houzz®, the leading platform for home remodeling and design. Avenue B was chosen by the more than 35 million monthly unique users that comprise the Houzz community from among more than one million active home building, remodeling and design industry professionals. The Design award recognizes building and design professionals whose portfolios are the most popular in the entire Houzz community. We thought it would be interesting to take a look at what our top 3 most popular Houzz photos are.
#1 Most Popular Avenue B Photo – Houzz
This photo has been added to almost 15,000 ideabooks and surprised as our most popular Houzz photo. It doesn’t have any styling, any color, or any furniture, and yet the innovative way to maximize space under a stairwell has captured lots of Houzz readers’ attention. To this day, built-ins under stairs are an Avenue B staple.
#2 Most Popular Avenue B Photo – Houzz
Another oldie, but goodie! This dining room came from our first project ever…appropriately located on Avenue B in Hyde Park. A charming 1910s Victorian had great bones, beadboard ceilings, and reclaimed pine flooring, and we showed off its character with a charcoal gray dining room with pops of purple and white. We still miss that dining table. It’s from Collectic Home, for all of you who wonder.
#3 Most Popular Avenue B Photo – Houzz
Last, but not least, my favorite dining room that we’ve done was this gorgeous formal space in the historic Brady House in Judges Hill. It proved you just need a little bling and little hot pink to create a refined, yet approachable, space perfect for entertaining dinner guests. This house features original craftsman trimwork, original oak floors, and original wavy glass windows. And the chandelier is the Robert Abbey Bling Chandelier, in case you are wondering.
We are curious – what are your favorite Avenue B photos?
