I don’t know about you, but when I was growing up, my parents coerced/took/followed all 5 of us kids to weekend homes tours, and I think it was one of the things that influenced our love of good design and solid craftsmanship. I would come home from those tours and attempt to draw the ideal floorplan for my perfect house (perfect as an 11 yr old imagined it, of course). This weekend, all of those happy memories are flooding back! Why?
TRIBEZA INTERIORS TOUR: THIS SATURDAY!
On Saturday, January 23, TRIBEZA will be putting on the 3rd annual Interiors Tour, and Avenue B Development is sponsoring it for the first time. The tour features 7 fabulous homes designed by some of Austin’s best interior designers and showcases why Austin is fast becoming a design hotspot. Get your tickets now, and spend a beautiful Saturday being inspired.
As a remodeling contractor, Avenue B works with a variety of architects and interior designers, and we are energized by the different aesthetics and styles that each bring to the table. The general rule of thumb is that you can hire an interior designer if you don’t have any structural changes or additional square feet to add, but you should hire an architect if you’re making significant structural changes and/or adding on to your home. Once those plans are designed, clients will reach out to contractors like Avenue B to handle the construction work and make the designs a reality.
Of course, there are times when we also act as our own interior designer, and drum roll, those times may become more frequent in the near future…Stay tuned for more news in early February.
